Units refer to groups of stories or assignments found on Units page. Units will be covered in order (with the exception of the Research Unit). The following is a general time table of when Units should begin. We will continue with the Unit until we have discussed all the stories. Then we will begin the next Unit.
All dates are tentative and subject to change -- it is your responsibility to keep track of any changes made to the schedule as I announce them in class. If you miss class, feel free to contact me to find out what was missed or if any changes were made.
All chapters and page numbers refer to Literature: An Anthology, 4th ed. unless otherwise noted.
Due Dates - Final Essays will be due at the end of the weeks noted. Response Papers will be due before the start of Unit/story discussions, as announced in class. Additional Response Papers may be assigned throughout the semester.
